What's Old is New

Sorry for the lack of outfit post today, I was out of town all weekend at the massive Brimfield antique show. Just thought I'd share some lovely images I came across. These were taken in 1944 for a Life Magazine feature on beautiful New York women. Does the fashion look familiar -- nautical stripes, florals, a-line skirts, and flat sandals with ankle straps? What goes around comes around and around.
